We are rapidly approaching the last solar celebration of the Keltic luni-solar calendar.

Before the passage into year 4400 at the full moon closest to Samhain-Samonios. In our calendar, this can be estimated as the full moon of 26 October 2026.

The equinox symbolizes cosmic balance between darkness and light.

The Kelts celebrated at this time the “dago naissatis,” the commemoration of the God Dagos.

The solstices and equinoxes are the easiest times of the year to identify: maximum or minimum day length for the solstices, equal length of day and night for the equinoxes. They are the markers of the luminosity cycle.

This celebration marks the end of nature’s productive cycle. It is the beginning of the earth’s sterility. This emplies that we all prepare. So that we are able to going trough the darker and cold seasons in the best conditions.

The only invitation to caution I remind you of, as at every change of season. In Traditional Chinese Medicine there is a fifth season, that of transitions.

It begins 9 days before the solstices and equinoxes and lasts 18 days.

While the Earth and the elements find a new balance, meteorological and therefore energetic turbulence often occurs. This can affect the most fragile. And this summer has been rather unbalancing with its heat waves.

As always, it is not a matter of falling into fear but of preparing and regenerating as well as possible. In order to reactivate our inner potential as well as possible.

For my part, I have already done a magnesium sulfate purge / gallstone flush and two energy stimulations (moxa–digitopuncture as self-care and a “spinal flow” session with Leslie, a practitioner here).

I will continue with a castor-oil purge in the coming days and a water fast + monodiet.

It is also the last Keltic festival of the year. In its Keltic tradition, this festival relates to agrarian work: the end of the harvests, the grape harvest, the gathering of the last fruits. It is the time to finish actions that have been started.

This moon of the old Keltiskr calendrier was called "Munna" for vine. It is the great solar ritual of the year that is coming to an end. It is the day of the partition between day and night. The autumn equinox is associated with the west, where the day ends, but also where life ends for the Kelts.

It is a day of thanksgiving and of preparation for the gloom of winter, because nature is about to fall asleep. The three classes give thanks to the gods and goddesses: thanks from the druids, who celebrate victories with the warriors and rejoice in the stored harvest with the producers.

The participants gather in the shade of the great tutelary Keltic oak, whose acorns will serve as food for the livestock that participates in the benefits of the forces set in motion by the Uncreated.

An oak wreath is presented to one of the people who has accomplished something important.

A Gaelic tradition reports that at the end of the harvests, the last sheaf was shaped into a doll called Cailleac, “old woman” in Gaelic, the Mother of Wheat or the Queen of the Harvests.

At the end of the celebrations, the doll was given, until the next sowing, to the farmer who had had the smallest harvest, as a good-luck charm.

The autumn equinox represents fullness after summer. The time of harvests, sharing and celebrations comes as a reward. Let us activate this energy in every area of our lives.

It is the time of integration into a new dimension: that of the collective, that of power when one knows where one is going, that of maturity, a strength that comes from Self-knowledge.

During this six-month cycle, cosmic forces favor withdrawal from materiality in favor of the spiritual. Nature itself illustrates this withdrawal. It strips itself bare.

Human beings take advantage of this to seek Knowledge and develop their intuition. They prepare for it by meditating on what they have done during the past months and by reflecting on what they will do now.

Nature is subject for six months to a heliocentric, therefore solar, current. As the sun moves away from the earth, it draws us with it.

This current is governed by the words give, serve, unite. This current draws us toward spirituality.
